Why Vanish?

Privacy

Vanish does not collect any data whatsoever. All processing is done on device, which means your images are NOT sent anywhere. Only you have access to them.

Pricing

Vanish is offered to you completely free of charge. There are no in-app purchases, advertisements, subscriptions, or hidden fees.

I built Vanish without a profit motive, simply because I thought it'd be useful and fun to create. All you need to do is enjoy the app :)

Credits

Vanish uses Meta's SAM 2 model for image segmentation, which is licensed under the Apache License 2.0. All rights to the SAM 2 model belong to Meta Platforms, Inc. and its affiliates.

Vanish relies heavily on Matthij Hollemans' CoreML Helpers, an extremely useful open source library that greatly simplifies working with MLMultiArray and CVPixelBuffer.

Vanish also takes inspiration from Alessandro Toschi's wonderful SegmentAnythingMobile demo app.
